Tremron Fence Installation: The Fort Lauderdale Owner’s Guide
Installing or repairing a Tremron fence system in Fort Lauderdale typically runs $3,500 – $9,000, depending on the linear footage, soil conditions, and whether we’re building from scratch or fixing a section that’s failed. We stock Tremron-compatible posts, panels, and hardware and can usually start within a week of your written estimate. Most owners discover they need us when a post tilts after heavy rain, a panel cracks at the footer, or the gate starts dragging against the pavers at an angle that wasn’t there last season.

Tremron concrete fence systems hold up well in South Florida’s sandy soil and salt air, but the installation details matter more than the product itself. What fails first is almost always the connection, not the concrete. More on that below.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron makes concrete fence systems in a few distinct lines, and the panels and posts are not interchangeable across all of them. The ones we see most often in Fort Lauderdale yards are the Tremron Estate Wall, the Tremron Fence Block, and the modular post-and-panel setups used around pools and property lines. The compatibility gotcha: Tremron posts have a channel width that only accepts panels from the same series. A post from the Estate Wall line won’t seat a Fence Block panel correctly, and forcing it leaves a visible gap at the seam that lets water in. In Fort Lauderdale, that water becomes the problem within two or three seasons.
If you don’t know which series you have, look for a casting mark or product code stamped on the bottom edge of a panel or the inside face of a post. Take a photo of it and text it to us; Trevor can usually identify the series from that alone. As for OEM versus aftermarket, Tremron’s own parts are the safest match, but for some older discontinued lines, a quality poured-in-place or precast equivalent gets you the same look and a better structural result. We’ll tell you honestly which way to go based on what’s still available from the Tremron yard in your area.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- The post rocks when you push it. This means the footer below the post has cracked or the base was set too shallow. In Fort Lauderdale’s sandy soil, a post needs a deeper footer than the same post would in clay up north.
- Hairline cracks run vertically through a panel. Usually caused by ground settling pulling the panel against a rigid connection point. It starts cosmetic, but salt-laden humidity works into the crack and accelerates spalling.
- The gate no longer lines up with the latch. Often the post on the hinge side has shifted, even a half inch. Heat expansion cycles through Miami summers and winter dry spells will widen that drift until the gate won’t close at all.
- White mineral streaks bleed down the concrete. Efflorescence. It indicates water is moving through the block, which is almost always an installation or drainage issue rather than a product defect.
- You can hear a hollow tap behind the surface near the base. The panel has debonded from its footer or the rebar has begun corroding inside. This is the one to address promptly, because corrosion expansion can push the panel apart from the inside.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For a Tremron fence installation or replacement in Fort Lauderdale, we price by the linear foot: expect $3,500 – $9,000 for a typical residential run, including tear-out of the failed section when needed, new footers set to the correct depth for local soil, the Tremron-compatible panels and posts or approved equivalents, hardware, and a written warranty on the work. What moves the number: how much of the old fence has to come out, whether the panels are still in production, and what the ground looks like once we open it up.
You get a written price before we start, not a ballpark. On fence work, that written number holds because we’ve already accounted for the excavation, material delivery, and the reality that Fort Lauderdale soil sometimes hides old fill, root masses, or abandoned irrigation lines. If something unexpected surfaces, we stop and show you what we found before any change is made. No quiet change orders at the end.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check a few things yourself: run a level across the top of the panels, check whether the gap at the footer is widening, and confirm your downspouts aren’t pointing at the fence line. Those observations help us price things accurately before the first visit. What you shouldn’t do is pull a leaning post yourself. Concrete fence panels weigh hundreds of pounds, and the post you’re trying to straighten is under load from the panels on both sides. If the footer gives way while you’re working, the panel comes with it.
Situations like that are exactly why we show up with the right lifting equipment and a crew who’s handled these removals hundreds of times. Plus, if it fails inside a year, our 365-Day Done Right Promise means we come back at no charge. That’s not a sales line; it’s written on the paperwork you’ll get before we start. Call (754) 551-2922 and tell us what the fence is doing. Tell me what you need, I’ll tell you what it costs – then we’ll get it done.
We’re Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale, an independent service provider. We’re not affiliated with Tremron, but we know their product lines well enough to match the right panel to the right post the first time, and we carry compatible hardware on the truck along with parts for related brands like KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone work.
FAQs

A properly installed Tremron concrete fence should last 30 to 40 years in Fort Lauderdale, even with the salt air and humidity, provided the footers were set at the right depth and water isn’t pooling against the base. Fences that fail at year eight or ten almost always fail at the connection or the footer, not because the concrete itself wore out. If yours is cracking at the base or leaning at the gate, call (754) 551-2922 and we’ll tell you what you’re actually looking at.
Hairline surface cracks can sometimes be sealed and stabilized, but structural cracks, especially vertical splits through the panel face, typically mean replacement is the honest long-term fix, because in Fort Lauderdale’s humidity, water will work into that crack and continue expanding through wet-dry cycles until the panel fails. We’ll assess the crack’s depth and cause before recommending anything. If repair is viable, we’ll say so and price it accordingly.
A typical residential fence run takes two to four working days from removal through new footers, panel set, and final cleanup, with the cure time for the footers dictating part of that window. We give you a real arrival window before the crew shows up, and the number we quote is the number you’ll see at the end.
We carry Tremron-compatible hardware, connectors, and access to the current panel and post lines through local supply yards, and we can normally have the specific series you need on site before your installation starts, so you’ll never be chasing parts on your own. We’ll handle the matching and the ordering, because that’s the part where most owners get sent in a loop between dealers and installers.
Ready to stop looking at that leaning post? Call Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale at (754) 551-2922 to schedule your free estimate. A real person answers, we’ll put the number in writing, and we’ll stand behind the work for a full year after it’s done.
