Meet the Fort Lauderdale Team Behind Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale
When you hire Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale, the people who show up at your door are the same people who measure your cabinets, lay your tile, and stand behind the work a year later. We’re a local crew that has spent years working inside Fort Lauderdale homes from Victoria Park to Rio Vista to Coral Ridge, and we know what this climate does to a poorly built shower or a kitchen installed without accounting for humidity. What unites us is simple: we write the price down before we start, we show up when we say we will, and if something fails inside the 365-day guarantee, we come back and fix it at no charge. No fine print, no subcontractor shuffle.

Our People

Trevor Nash, Owner
Trevor runs Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale the way he has run every job since joining the Kingswell family of companies: he wants the price on paper before a single tool leaves the truck. Trevor learned early that in a salt-air, high-humidity market like Fort Lauderdale, the difference between a five-year shower and a twenty-year shower usually comes down to the boring stuff: the fastener material, the waterproofing layer, the substrate. He will happily explain what a cement board substrate is (the moisture-resistant layer behind your tile) if you ask, because in his experience the word “substrate” has ended more than one conversation it should have started. Outside of work, Trevor is occupied by two projects: a 1970s center console boat that runs when it wants to, and a kitchen at home he has been planning for three years and has yet to start. That is not a joke.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus has been building and remodeling in South Florida for sixteen years, the last six of them with Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale. He is our lead on whole-home remodels and the person who walks a job before the contract is signed to catch the things that do not show up on a floor plan, like a drain line that runs where the island is supposed to go. Marcus holds certifications in James Hardie siding installation and is our go-to for exterior envelope work, which matters in Fort Lauderdale where wind-driven rain finds every weakness. He is also, without question, the neatest job site lead we have, a habit he credits to a former foreman who made him sweep twice before leaving any job, finished or not.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena specializes in kitchens and bathrooms, particularly the parts that fail silently: waterproofing, tile substrate, cabinet anchoring, and the transition points where flooring meets a shower curb. She has spent ten years in residential remodeling and is the person on our crew most likely to notice that a Kohler fixture rough-in is off by a quarter inch before the trim goes on. Elena works extensively with Cambria and Silestone quartz, and she is the one who walks homeowners through countertop material choices with actual samples in hand, not a brochure. She grew up in a family of cabinetmakers in Hialeah and still talks about grain direction the way other people talk about the weather. If Elena says a seam will be visible in a certain light, trust her: she has already checked it twice.
Danny P., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice on the phone when you call (754) 551-2922, and unlike most companies, you get a real person every time, 24 hours a day, no answering service and no voicemail maze. He has been coordinating crews for Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale since our first year here, and he can tell you within a two-minute conversation when a team can be at your house and what the first visit involves. Danny’s job is to make sure the written price, the defined arrival window, and the clean job site promise all actually happen on schedule. He keeps a running list of every open permit in Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, and Oakland Park so he can tell you honestly where city review times stand this month. Outside of work, Danny is a youth baseball coach at Holiday Park, which explains why his calendar notation system is more reliable than most software.
Andre B., Apprentice
Andre joined Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale two years ago through a local trade program and is working toward his journeyman status under Marcus and Elena. On any given day you will find him cutting backer board, mixing thinset, or holding a laser level while someone older than him checks a layout for the third time. Andre does not do solo work on anything structural, which is exactly how an apprenticeship should work on a job site where the guarantee is in writing. He is learning the trade the way we think it ought to be learned: from people who have actually done it in Fort Lauderdale, in real homes, with real humidity. Andre also owns a very small dog with a very large engine of a bark, which you may hear in the background if you ever call when he is taking a day off.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Penhallow Remodeling Fort Lauderdale job runs to the same written standard, the one the Kingswell family of companies has operated under since 2004. Say the price before the work. Show up in the window we gave. Leave the place cleaner than we found it. And back the whole thing with a written guarantee. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if any covered work fails inside the guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge. If a repair fails, the second visit is free too, no service call and no re-inspection fee. Materials are drawn from brands that carry their own weight: KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinetry, Cambria and Caesarstone countertops, Kohler and Moen fixtures, James Hardie siding. The products behind the promise are as solid as the people doing the work. Call (754) 551-2922 to put the team to work on your Fort Lauderdale home.
